How to Immediately Change Your Life For The Better

Have you ever wanted to immediately change your life for the better? You sure can…

Most of us vow to start living healthier, take up some form of exercise and stick with it and adopt healthier eating habits.

Some pledge to minimize the level of stress and live a more peaceful life, removing the toxic elements from it, be more productive and less tired.

We also promise to be kinder and more attentive both to the needs of others as well as our own.

What if you could scratch all of these, and probably numerous other items you have on your list, and make just one resolution that will change every aspect of your life for the better, starting with your health and extending to every sphere of your life?

The resolution we have in mind is committing to mastering the art of mindful living, as this one seemingly simple resolution is bound to bring everything you want in life and then some more.

So let’s embark on this journey together and discover why turning a mindful leaf is so beneficial and also learn how to adopt the habits of mindful living.

Mindful morning for a healthier day

The first step towards a healthy and productive, not to mention a stress-free morning is – stop hitting the snooze button and start getting up one hour before you need to go places.

The reason is simple – you need this time to decompress, soak up every moment and be truly present, and have time to relish each and every part of your morning rituals.

Stay in bed for 20 minutes and use this time to bring positive energy towards yourself. Visualize your day; be grateful for every blessing in your life. It may feel a tad strange at first, but soon enough you won’t be able to go about your day before completing this ritual.

90% of world-class leaders and top performers are practicing some kind of meditation; so give it a go

Meditation, or practicing mindfulness, is by far the most common pattern across them all.

Reserve 20 minutes each morning for meditation. If you are new to this art, download an app and don’t be skeptical.

Everything that has been said and scientifically backed up by science – that meditation has the power to fend off stress (the cause of numerous health problems), as well as fatigue,  fatigue and anxiety is a 100% true, and as soon as you get in the swing of things, you will realize just how immense is the positive impact of meditation on your health, both mental and physical.

It will also help you get in touch with yourself, empty the mind and go about your day with unprecedented serenity and sense of contentment.

Sharpen the mind

One of the pillars of mindful living is being aware of everything that goes on around you. This not only allows you to truly enjoy the good and deal with the bad in the healthiest and the most productive of ways, but it also helps you stay sharp and concentrated.

Have you ever seen the movie Limitless? It’s essentially about this smart pill that unleashes superhuman cognitive abilities in the taker. However, in the movie the pill has major downsides, but the limitless pill alternatives truly allow you to achieve your full mental potential, enhance your cognitive skills with none of the side-effects, and the best part, they render all the energy and focus-enticing drinks unnecessary.

Meditation and physical activity can do great things for the mind, but there is no harm in walking that extra mile, especially in this new age in which cognitive-enhancing supplements have never been more safe and effective.

Take a walk

“There is no way to happiness –happiness is the way.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

There is nothing figurative about this – simply take a walk every single day. However, instead of on just focusing on sweating it out, become more aware of your surroundings.

Meditation will have already flicked this switch inside you, but make sure you purposefully take a moment to relish all the beauty of the environment around you, so make your walks as long and as mindful as possible.

Any kind of physical activity is beneficial for the health, take a brisk walk for instance; is more effective when it’s done with the principles of mindfulness – being present in each moment.

The best you

You may not be aware of this quite yet, but random acts of kindness aren’t only good for the soul but for your overall wellbeing, too.

The first person you need to express kindness to is yourself; stop being so self-critical, and you are bound to feel like an almost literal weight has been lifted off your shoulders, and in the long run, this will do wonders for your emotional and physical health.

Once you are able to be kind to yourself and rediscover the best version of you, you will be able to exercise kindness to others with more ease than ever, and the sense of fulfilment and sheer love for life will be so rewarding you won’t be able to believe it.

It doesn’t matter whether you will compliment someone’s work or the way they look, help someone with a task or a bag of groceries. This won’t take much from you but it will make someone’s entire day and in turn, you will feel fantastic in your skin and you will have achieved that best version of you.

In the world where you can be anything, be kind.

Give these practices a try and soon enough you will uncover the best, healthiest version of yourself and feel more alive than you have felt your entire life!
